ON-LINE COMMUNICATION PLATFORMS ENABLING TRAINING PARTICIPANTS TO CONTACT THE TRAINER (SOUND, VIDEO, SHARED NOTICE BOARD ETC.) – SYNCHRONOUS TRAINING FORMAT

A conference may be joined by multiple users at the same time. The conference moderator and the authorized (by the moderator) participants can:

  • Speak to the forum using a voice connection and a microphone,
  • Appear visually using a video camera (e.g. a built-in web camera),
  • Display the screen of the computer where the on-line conference is running (desktop sharing and remote control),
  • Initiate the interactive notice board feature enabling authorized users to post their notes and publish documents being interpreted (displayed) in an Internet browser window,
  • Publish documents in the following file formats: .odt, .ods, .odp .doc, .xls, .pdf, .jpg, png, gif, .ppt, both as multimedia presentations and interactive board posts,
  • Raising the “virtual hand” to speak up in the discussion,
  • Submit enquiries,
  • Chat,
  • Save the conference history (both the sound and the moderator’s desktop preview) on a server or in *.flv files.
